Bengaluru's homes range from apartments in large gated communities along Sarjapur Road, Whitefield, Hebbal and Electronic City to independent houses and villas in older layouts such as Jayanagar, Indiranagar and JP Nagar. Many of these were bought by professionals who moved to the city for work, often with a busy home office as well as family space to plan for.
A practical Vastu consultation for a home here looks at the layout you actually have: the entrance, the kitchen, bedrooms, the centre of the home and the room that has become a workspace. The aim is a short list of changes that fit the way you live, not a long list of rules.
Gated communities, older layouts and home offices
Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi has travelled from Mumbai to Bengaluru for an in-person Vastu site visit, and for projects that need her on site a visit can be planned again. Most homes in the city, though, are reviewed online: you share the floor plan, a phone-compass reading at the main door and photographs, she studies them before the call, and then walks through the home with you on video.
