Vastu consultation for properties in Jorhat

Jorhat is an old Upper Assam town of tea gardens, colleges, research institutes and river crossings to Majuli, and its properties reflect that history. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews Jorhat buildings online from Vile Parle West, starting from a plan or sketch and a compass reading taken at the main entrance.

A measured review of how spaces are used in Jorhat

A Vastu review considers how a building faces the directions and whether the arrangement of rooms suits those who live or work in it. In Jorhat that might be a wide-verandah bungalow, a flat above a shop near the town centre, or a new house on an edge-of-town plot.

Dr. Riddhe starts with how the building is truly used from morning to night. Her suggestions favour small, reversible steps, such as moving a desk, reassigning a room or clearing a blocked entrance, and she raises structural options only when there is a good reason. No outcome is promised.

Planter bungalows, flats and bazaar shops in Jorhat

Jorhat's older residential pockets near the Chariali and along AT Road hold colonial-era and planter-style bungalows with tall roofs and deep verandahs, alongside Assam-type houses and many concrete homes built in the last few decades. Plots on the outskirts toward Cinnamara, Chowkihat and Garmur are usually larger and more regular, so the entrance direction is often the first thing owners ask.

Commercial life centres on tea, education and trade. Offices connected to the tea industry, shops along the main bazaar streets, coaching centres, clinics and guest houses all raise their own questions about the owner's seat, the cash counter and storage. For every kind of premises the process remains the same: sketch, compass reading, photographs and a video call.

River systems, rain and raised ground floors

Jorhat's wet monsoon and the Bhogdoi river system shape where water collects and how ground floors are raised. The reading takes this into account, so the advice stays practical in the rainy months as well as the dry season, and never sets aside safety or drainage.
