Vastu Consultant in Mathura

Vastu advice for properties in Mathura

Mathura is a pilgrimage town on the Yamuna, where houses, lodging, sweet shops and workshops sit close together and often serve several purposes at once. Such mixed use makes buildings harder to read than a plain residential flat. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi offers online Vastu advice to Mathura owners, drawing on consultation work that began in 1999.

Reading a shared house or shop-house through direction

Vastu reads a building through direction: where the door faces, how the interior is divided, and how the centre, the corners and the openings relate to one another. In a house that may be shared by a joint family, or a property that doubles as a business, the question is often how to separate living space from working space sensibly.

Dr. Riddhe starts with small, reversible changes, like reallocating a room, shifting a counter or moving storage, and keeps structural alterations for cases where nothing simpler helps. Her advice is written plainly, so that everyone in the household can follow what is proposed and why.

Narrow old houses and new colonies in Mathura

In Mathura, the old quarter around Holi Gate and the ghats has tall, narrow houses packed along tight lanes, with shops at street level and family rooms above. Newer colonies near Krishna Nagar, Civil Lines and the Agra and Delhi road corridors offer plots and flats with more regular geometry.

Pilgrim traffic drives the local economy, so many enquiries concern guest houses, sweet and puja-material shops and small hotels, alongside the foundry and refinery-linked work for which the district is known. You send a plan, a compass reading at the main door and photographs, followed by a video walkthrough. A site visit can be discussed for larger projects.

Ghat-side homes built to face water and temple lanes

The Yamuna crosses the city, and old homes near the ghats were built facing the river or the temple lanes, not the compass. Dr. Riddhe takes both the approach road and the water into account when she identifies the practical front of a Mathura building.
