Family constellation sessions for Mussoorie families
Hill-station life can stretch families across distances: a parent in a cottage on the ridge, children studying in a plains city, a sibling working abroad. Family constellation helps you look at these relationships. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi runs one-to-one online sessions in which small objects stand for members of your family.

Arranging objects for yourself and relevant relatives
You describe the question you want to understand, then choose objects for yourself and the relevant relatives and arrange them on a table. Dr. Riddhe studies the arrangement with you, asks about the distances and directions you chose, and suggests small repositionings to see how the relationships feel afterwards.
Family members need not attend, and they need not be told. The work depends on your own view. Group sessions take place in person in Mumbai, while the individual format is the one used for Mussoorie. You can pause at any time, and you decide how much of your history to describe.

Session formats
How family constellation sessions are offered
One-to-one, online
Just you and Dr. Riddhe on video, with everyday objects representing family members.
Group sessions in person
Other participants stand in for family members. Held in person in Mumbai.
No family attendance needed
You attend on your own; the family system is represented in the session.
Reflective, not therapy
It does not diagnose or treat; it can sit alongside professional support.
Distance, heritage homes and seasonal work in Mussoorie
In a town where many families have lived for generations and others arrived for school or work, themes vary. There may be a family property, such as an old cottage, whose future is unsettled. Some people carry the strain of caring for an elderly parent alone. Others feel a gap between themselves and a sibling who left the hills.
Staff at boarding schools, hotel workers and families who run seasonal businesses are also often separated from their relatives for months. A session can help you look at that distance more clearly. A winter morning, when business is slow, makes a good time for the quiet hour needed.
Know whom to call before you begin
Please note that family constellation is not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support. In case of distress, contact a doctor, counsellor or helpline first. It is worth knowing whom to call before a session begins.

Book a session
One-to-one online by video, or in person in Mumbai. Group sessions are held in Mumbai.

- 3
Guided constellation
The family is represented with objects or participants, and the relationships are explored step by step.
- 4

A private room, a cleared table and ten small objects
Choose a private room and clear a table or a patch of floor. Gather ten or so small objects of different shapes, such as pebbles, coins or buttons. Decide on one family question to explore. Questions & answers
Family constellation questions in Mussoorie
Have a different question? Ask Dr. Riddhe’s team. There is no obligation to book.
Can an inherited cottage in Mussoorie be a subject for family constellation?
Yes, if the difficulty lies in family relationships around the cottage. The session cannot settle ownership or legal questions, which need a lawyer, but it can clarify how each person stands in the picture.
My family lives apart most of the year. Can I do this from Mussoorie alone?
Yes. The session works from your own view of the family using objects. Nobody else has to join, which suits families scattered between the hills and other cities.
What household items work as representatives during a Mussoorie session?
Anything small and distinct: coins, buttons, tea-spoons, pebbles or bottle caps. Use different sizes, as it helps you assign them to different relatives and feel each one's place.
Where are group constellation sessions held for a Mussoorie client?
Group sessions are held in person in Mumbai only. For Mussoorie, one-to-one online sessions are the available format, and they work the same way without needing to travel.
