Vastu Consultant in Puri

Vastu consultation for properties in Puri

Puri is a temple town on the Bay of Bengal, where family homes in the old lanes around the Jagannath Temple stand beside modern hotels and guesthouses facing the sea. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews such properties online, working from your plan, a compass reading and photographs, then discusses what each space suggests.

Reading entrances, rooms and light in your building

A Vastu review asks how a building relates to the directions: which way the entrance opens, where kitchens, bedrooms and prayer spaces fall, and how light and air move through the plan. Dr. Riddhe begins with a floor plan or sketch, then asks for a compass reading taken at the main door and photographs.

She follows with a video walkthrough in which each room is discussed in turn. Advice favours small, reversible changes first, such as rearranging furniture or shifting what is stored where, and she raises structural alteration only when the layout leaves no gentler option.

Old lanes, sea frontage and guesthouses in Puri

Buildings in Puri vary greatly. Old homes in the town's lanes are narrow and deep, often sharing walls with neighbours and with little scope for new openings. Along the coast and the Marine Drive stretch toward Konark, newer hotels, guesthouses and apartments are built on larger plots with sea-facing frontage.

Owners in the hospitality trade ask about the reception counter, kitchen position and room allocation, while resident families ask about home temples, extensions and rented floors. Salt air also wears paint and metal quickly, so repair and repainting plans can be coordinated with any layout changes. A visit can be discussed if a project needs one.

Sea winds and cyclone safety come first

Many Puri properties are close to the beach and open to strong sea winds, particularly after cyclones such as Fani in 2019. Dr. Riddhe keeps structural safety first, so Vastu suggestions never ask you to weaken walls, roofs or openings.
