Vastu consultation for properties in Rishikesh
Rishikesh is where the Ganga leaves the mountains, and its buildings reflect that mix of pilgrimage, yoga tourism and everyday town life. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews Rishikesh properties online. Send a drawing and a compass reading, and she studies how the space is laid out for the people who stay, work or live in it.
Reading entrances, kitchens and prayer spaces by direction
Vastu is a way of reading a building through its directions: where people enter, where they cook, rest, pray or work, and how these zones relate to each other. The aim is a layout that feels settled and sensible for those who use it daily, not an abstract checklist.
Dr. Riddhe starts with small adjustments that cost little, such as shifting furniture, changing how a room is used or reorganising a storage corner. Heavier alterations are discussed only when they are clearly justified. No consultation can promise a particular result, and she says so plainly at the outset.
Riverside guesthouses, yoga halls and family homes in Rishikesh
Rishikesh properties vary a great deal. Around Tapovan, Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula you find narrow, multi-storey guesthouses and cafes built tightly on small plots. Swarg Ashram and Muni ki Reti have ashrams and yoga schools with halls, dormitories and kitchens. Further out, along the Dehradun road and towards Shyampur, there are family houses and new apartment blocks.
Owners of yoga shalas worry about where the practice hall and the teacher's seat sit. Guesthouse owners want to know about the reception, the kitchen and room numbering. Everything can be handled remotely, through a floor plan, photographs and a video walkthrough with the owner.
Dampness near the river and slope issues on hillside plots
Properties near the river face monsoon dampness and the occasional high-water season, and hillside plots above the town have their own slope issues. Dr. Riddhe keeps her advice practical, so that a suggestion never ignores how the building actually drains and ventilates.

Residential Vastu Consultation
Flats, bungalows and row houses, for owners who are buying, moving in or living with a layout that does not feel right. The review covers the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms, the centre of the home and how each room is used, and recommendations start with placement, colour and use of rooms rather than demolition.
Commercial Vastu Consultation
Offices, shops, showrooms, clinics, factories and warehouses. The consultation looks at the entrance, seating and working areas, storage and, for industrial sites, the plot and production flow, often together with the owner’s architect or plant engineer.

Rishikesh Vastu questions answered
Can a yoga school in Rishikesh be reviewed online?
Yes. Send the layout of the practice hall, dormitory, kitchen and office with photographs and a compass reading at the gate. Dr. Riddhe then goes through it on video and flags points worth adjusting.
Does a house close to the Ganga change how Vastu is read?
The river is noted as part of the surroundings, along with road and slope. Dr. Riddhe reads the building itself first, then relates its position to the surroundings, rather than applying a fixed rule.
I run a small cafe near Laxman Jhula. What should I send?
Share a sketch showing the entrance, kitchen, seating and the owner's counter, with photographs from the lane. Include opening hours and staff areas, so the layout can be judged against how the cafe is used.
Will changes mean rebuilding my Rishikesh guesthouse?
No. The first suggestions concern room use, furniture and arrangement. Structural change is discussed only when there is a strong reason, and should involve a qualified local builder.
