Vastu consultation for properties in Roorkee
Roorkee is an engineering and canal town on the plains of Haridwar district, known for the Upper Ganga Canal, the IIT campus and an old cantonment. Its buildings range from colonial-era bungalows to new apartment blocks. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews Roorkee properties online, beginning with a plan and a compass reading taken at the door.
How alignment and room use are weighed in a consultation
Vastu studies how a building lines up with the directions and how each room is used within that alignment. The consultation considers the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms, study area, stores and workspace, and asks whether the overall arrangement suits the household or business occupying it.
On flat plains land, orientation is easier to read than on a hillside, so the focus falls on layout and daily use. Dr. Riddhe offers low-cost, reversible suggestions first, and raises structural changes only with a clear reason. She cannot promise any result, and says so before the review begins.
Canal-town bungalows, rented flats and workshops in Roorkee
Residential Roorkee is a patchwork. Older neighbourhoods near the civil lines and cantonment have large plots with deep verandahs, while areas along the Haridwar and Delhi roads are filling with flats and builder floors. Many houses are let to students and staff linked to the institutes, so room use changes often from tenant to tenant.
On the commercial side, shopkeepers in the old bazaar, coaching and stationery businesses, hostel and mess operators, and workshop and small factory owners in the industrial pockets around the town all raise layout questions. Everything is handled online through sketches, photographs, a compass reading and a video call.
Flat terrain, canals and thick-walled houses
Roorkee's flat terrain, canal-side settlements and hot summers shape how houses are built, with thick walls, courtyards and rooftop water tanks. Dr. Riddhe considers these features when suggesting where to place a kitchen, bedroom or storage.
Other services for Roorkee clients
Residential Vastu Consultation
Flats, bungalows and row houses, for owners who are buying, moving in or living with a layout that does not feel right. The review covers the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms, the centre of the home and how each room is used, and recommendations start with placement, colour and use of rooms rather than demolition.
Commercial Vastu Consultation
Offices, shops, showrooms, clinics, factories and warehouses. The consultation looks at the entrance, seating and working areas, storage and, for industrial sites, the plot and production flow, often together with the owner’s architect or plant engineer.

Roorkee Vastu questions answered
I rent out rooms to students in Roorkee. Can Vastu be applied to a rental house?
Yes, with practical limits. Dr. Riddhe focuses on arrangements you control, such as how rooms are allotted and where furniture sits, and avoids changes that tenants or the building rules would not allow.
Does a canal-side plot in Roorkee need special handling?
The canal is noted as part of the surroundings, along with the road and any slope of the plot. The building itself is read first, and the location is considered after that, not the other way round.
What should a small workshop owner in Roorkee send for review?
Share a layout of the shop floor with machines, storage, the owner's desk and the entrance, plus photographs. Mention how material enters and leaves, since movement through the unit affects the reading.
Will the review mean altering my old Roorkee bungalow's walls?
Not initially. Suggestions start with room use and furniture. Any structural work, especially in an older building, is raised only with strong reasons and needs a qualified builder or engineer.
