Family constellation for Tezpur households
Many Tezpur families are rooted in a family home and a wider clan, even as children go away for study or service postings. Family constellation lets you look at how everyone fits into that picture. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi conducts one-to-one sessions online, using small objects to stand for each person.

How the exercise is guided online
In a constellation, each person or theme is represented by an object placed on a surface. You state what you want to examine, set the objects down as it feels right, and Dr. Riddhe guides a discussion on closeness, gaps, exclusions and the role each person seems to hold.
No relative has to take part or even know. You work from your own sense of the family, and the physical arrangement often reveals something that describing it never did. Group constellations are held in person in Mumbai, while online work is one-to-one.

Session formats
How family constellation sessions are offered
One-to-one, online
Just you and Dr. Riddhe on video, with everyday objects representing family members.
Group sessions in person
Other participants stand in for family members. Held in person in Mumbai.
No family attendance needed
You attend on your own; the family system is represented in the session.
Reflective, not therapy
It does not diagnose or treat; it can sit alongside professional support.
Family homes, clans and relatives posted elsewhere
Tezpur households often include elders living in a long-established home while sons and daughters work in other cities or in transferable jobs. Questions then arise about who returns, who stays and who shoulders responsibility, along with older matters such as inheritance of land or a lingering quarrel between branches of a family.
People also bring more personal themes: feeling pressure to follow a parent's profession, grief that has never been spoken about, or a marriage that has brought two families together uneasily. Sessions are by video from a private room, so no one in the house needs to be involved.
How this exercise sits beside therapy
Please note that family constellation is not therapy, medical treatment or crisis support. If you are in acute distress, contact a qualified professional or emergency services first. This session is a reflective exercise about family roles and is offered alongside, not instead of, that kind of help.

Questions & answers
Family constellation questions from Tezpur
Have a different question? Ask Dr. Riddhe’s team. There is no obligation to book.
Do I have to bring my spouse to a family constellation session?
No. You can attend alone, and relatives need not be present or informed. The session works with your own view of the family, represented by objects.
Can the session help with a long-running land disagreement?
It may help you recognise loyalties and unspoken expectations before you talk to anyone. It does not replace mediation, legal advice or formal land records work.
What if I feel emotional during the video session?
That can happen, and you can pause or stop whenever you wish. The session is not therapy or crisis support, so if you are in distress, please reach out to a qualified professional.
Is there a group format for someone based in Tezpur?
Group sessions are only in person in Mumbai, at Dr. Riddhe's Vile Parle West office. From Tezpur, the online one-to-one version is the option on offer.
