Vastu consultation for homes and shops in Thoubal

Thoubal sits on the flat rice-growing floor of the Manipur valley, a short distance from Imphal, and its plots are wide, level and often shared by several generations. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi studies such properties from a distance, beginning with a plan and a compass reading, and keeps her advice practical for the way the house is lived in.

What a Vastu reading looks at in Thoubal

A Vastu review looks at how a building relates to the directions: where the entrance falls, how rooms are arranged around it, and whether kitchens, stores, prayer corners and sleeping areas sit comfortably within the layout. It is a way of reading a property, offered as one perspective among others that a family may weigh.

Dr. Riddhe begins with what already exists. Early suggestions are modest, such as moving a desk, giving a room a different use or clearing a cluttered corner. Demolition or major building work is not where she starts. No review can promise a particular result; the aim is a layout that feels settled and easy to use.

Compounds, looms and paddy land around Thoubal

Properties around Thoubal range from family compounds with a front yard, a kitchen garden and a separate shed, to newer concrete houses along the roads leading to Imphal and Kakching. Many households run a small shop, a weaving loom or a bit of farming alongside the home, so living and working space overlap more than in a city flat.

That mix shapes the questions people raise. Where should the loom or stock room stand relative to the house? Does a new floor added for a married son change the balance? The online process stays the same: a sketch of the plot, a door reading, photographs and then a video walk through each space.

Seismic zone and monsoon drainage first

The Imphal valley receives strong monsoon rain and lies in a high seismic zone, so drainage, raised plinths and sound construction come before any directional thinking. Vastu ideas here are fitted around these practical safeguards, and nothing in a review replaces an engineer's advice.
