Vastu Consultant in Agartala

Vastu consultation for properties in Agartala

Agartala is a low-rise capital where older plinth-raised bungalows with sloping roofs stand next to new apartment blocks. Vastu questions here are down to earth: where the kitchen sits, which way the door opens, how a shop counter faces. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi studies your property online and talks you through the findings.

Advice weighed against cost and effort

A review opens with orientation: the facing of the front door and how the rooms are disposed around the centre. Dr. Riddhe then goes through the entrance, the cooking area, sleeping rooms, the puja corner and any workspace, noting what suits the layout and what is awkward.

Her recommendations are graded by effort. Adjusting how a room is used, rearranging furniture and moving storage are tried first, and construction enters the discussion only when the plan leaves no other path. Where the existing arrangement is sound, she says so and stops there.

Raised plinths, tin roofs and narrow plots in Agartala

Rainfall in Tripura is heavy, so many homes in Agartala keep raised plinths, sloping tin or tile roofs and wide eaves, and plenty of owners have rebuilt or extended in reinforced concrete. Plots are often long and narrow, with a courtyard, a pond or a garden behind. These details influence which rooms can sensibly move.

Neighbourhoods such as Battala, Krishnanagar, Banamalipur and Ramnagar mix family homes with shops and small offices on the ground floor. Because Agartala is the state capital, many households also include government employees on transfer or retirement. A video walkthrough is the easiest way to explain such multi-use layouts.

Puja spaces, courtyards and tribal home habits

Bengali households in the city often keep a dedicated puja space and a courtyard-style approach to the house, while many tribal families build and arrange their homes differently. Dr. Riddhe pays attention to these habits instead of imposing one pattern.
