What Dr. Riddhe looks for in your signature

Sign several times on plain paper with your regular pen and add a handwritten paragraph. Dr. Riddhe examines the starting stroke, slant, pressure, spacing and legibility, and how your signature relates to your ordinary writing. She explains what each feature may suggest about how you come across.

Any change is optional. If you adopt a new signature, practise it until it feels natural before using it anywhere formal, and tell your bank first. This is an interpretive reading and not a forensic examination, so it cannot verify whether a signature is genuine.

What is analysed

What a signature analysis looks at

  • Size and proportion

How your signature compares with your normal handwriting.

  • Slant, spacing and pressure

Direction, rhythm and how firmly the pen meets the page.

  • Legibility and strokes

Readable first name and surname, underlines, dots and ending strokes.

  • Placement on the page

Where the signature sits, with optional refinements that stay yours.

Bengali and English signatures in Agartala

In Agartala, many people sign in Bengali script for some documents and in English for others, and the two can look quite different. Government employees, who form a large part of the capital's workforce, sign registers and files all day, and a signature written in haste can drift from the one first registered.

Students heading out for study, first-time earners opening accounts and business owners signing agreements are among those who consult. Everything happens online, so the exchange needs only a phone camera and a sheet of paper, with no couriers or visits required.

Bengali and English signatures at the bank

Bengali and English signatures are both common in Tripura offices and banks. Dr. Riddhe reads either script. Her work is a personal reading of handwriting and not forensic verification of any document.

Questions & answers

Signature questions from Agartala

Have a different question? Ask Dr. Riddhe’s team. There is no obligation to book.

I sign in Bengali and English. Which should I send?

Send both, and tell Dr. Riddhe which appears on your bank records and identity papers. She will read each and explain how they differ so that you can decide how to use them.

After the Agartala review, must I adopt a different signature?

No. Changes are entirely optional, and sometimes the suggestion is to keep what you have. If you do adopt a new one, practise it first and inform your bank.

Can the review prove whether a signature is forged?

No. Signature analysis is interpretive and not forensic. It cannot verify authenticity or detect forgery, so any such question should go to a qualified forensic document examiner.

What kind of photo is acceptable for the review?

A clear phone photo taken in daylight, with the paper flat and no shadows, is enough. Use plain white paper and a pen you normally use, and capture all the signatures in one frame.
