Vastu Consultant in Beijing

Online Vastu consultation for homes in Beijing

Beijing homes tend to be laid out on a strict north-south grid, from old courtyard lanes to modern towers. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi, a Vastu consultant since 1999, reviews such homes remotely for Indian-origin families and professionals, explaining how the Indian system reads the plan you already have.

Matching each zone to its purpose

Vastu is an Indian tradition that relates a building's orientation to the use of its rooms. China has its own respected tradition, Feng Shui, which this service does not compare with or claim to replace. The consultation is simply about Vastu, for those who wish to apply it.

For Beijing, everything happens online. You send a floor plan or sketch, a compass reading at the main door and photographs, and then walk Dr. Riddhe through the home on video. No visit abroad is offered, and the remote method is designed to work without one.

Rented flats, compounds and villas in Beijing

Most expatriate and Indian-origin households in Beijing rent. Typical homes are gated apartment compounds in Chaoyang, Haidian or Dongcheng, serviced flats near embassies and business districts, and villas in suburbs such as Shunyi near international schools. Rented flats rarely allow structural change.

That shapes the advice. Suggestions centre on where to place the bed, desk and prayer corner, how to use balconies, and which rooms to use for what. Winters with central heating keep windows shut for months, so how an apartment's interior is arranged matters even more. The result is a short list of practical steps.

Reading actual doors, not brochure directions

Many apartments in Beijing face south by design, with the entrance on the north or east. Dr. Riddhe reads your actual door and room directions with a compass, since a developer's brochure may not match the building as built.
