Vastu Consultant in Jaisalmer

Vastu consultation for Jaisalmer properties

Jaisalmer is built in golden-yellow sandstone at the heart of the Thar, with a living fort, carved havelis and a tourism economy that shapes almost every building. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews Jaisalmer properties online, working from a plan or sketch, photographs and a compass reading at the entrance, followed by a video walkthrough.

Small reversible changes before structural ones

Vastu looks at how rooms and openings relate to the directions, and at whether the arrangement suits the people who live or work in them. Dr. Riddhe begins with the building as it exists, noting the entrance, kitchen, prayer space, sleeping areas, water storage and any rooftop structures, and then asks how daily routines move through them.

Her first suggestions are simple and reversible: moving a bed, reassigning a room or clearing a cluttered corner. Structural changes come up only where the building allows and there is a sound reason. No outcome is promised, and the consultation is designed to leave you with practical choices rather than alarm.

Fort lanes, havelis and desert camps in Jaisalmer

Much of Jaisalmer was built before modern plot planning, so houses in and around the fort often have irregular shapes, small courtyards, thick walls and flat roofs shared with neighbours. Elsewhere in the town, newer houses and small apartment blocks follow regular plots. A drawing or even a hand sketch with measured sides is enough to begin.

Hospitality dominates local business. Haveli stays, guesthouses, rooftop cafes, handicraft and textile shops, and camps toward the Sam dunes all have guest rooms, kitchens and reception areas that need careful reading. Camp layouts with tents, dining areas and fire pits can be reviewed from a site sketch and photographs.

Desert heat, cold nights and scarce water

Jaisalmer's extremes of heat, cold desert nights and scarce water influence how people place kitchens, storage tanks and sleeping areas. Dr. Riddhe takes those practical constraints into account, so that suggestions respect the climate and the way sandstone buildings hold heat.
