Vastu Consultant in Jodhpur

Vastu consultation for Jodhpur properties

Jodhpur spreads out below Mehrangarh Fort, with blue-washed houses in the old city, bungalows and flats in newer sectors and busy export workshops on the outskirts. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews Jodhpur buildings online. You send a plan or sketch, photographs and a compass reading at the main door, and a video walkthrough follows.

Directions, daylight and the plan of the house

A Vastu review considers where the entrance, kitchen, prayer corner, bedrooms, toilets and storage lie in relation to the directions, and whether the arrangement serves the family or staff who use it. Dr. Riddhe starts with the drawing in front of her and the routines of the people involved, not with a fixed list.

She suggests easy changes first, like rearranging furniture, switching the use of a room or opening up a blocked corner. Structural alterations are mentioned only when nothing else would help. No outcome is promised, and the aim is a layout you find easier and calmer to use.

Fort-side lanes, new sectors and workshops in Jodhpur

Jodhpur's older core has narrow lanes below the fort, where Brahmapuri houses are stacked closely and doors face whichever lane they were built on. Beyond it, residential areas such as Ratanada, Shastri Nagar, Sardarpura and Chopasni Housing Board carry bungalows and flats on regular plots, and newer towers have appeared along the bypass and the roads towards Pal.

Commercial premises are equally varied. Traders around the Clock Tower and Sardar Market work from small shops with stock stacked to the ceiling, while furniture, metalwork and handicraft exporters run workshops at Basni and Boranada. Machine position, packing areas and cash counters are examined from photographs and a sketch.

Terraces, water tanks and rooftop living

Jodhpur's hot summers and dry air mean that terraces and open rooftops serve as living space for much of the year. Dr. Riddhe notes how a family uses its terrace, water tank and store room, because these shape which parts of the plan matter.
