Vastu Consultant in Kolkata

Vastu consultation for properties in Kolkata

Kolkata combines centuries-old mansions in the north, promoter-built apartment blocks across the south and east, and glass offices in Salt Lake and New Town. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews properties here online. She starts from your plan and a compass reading, and looks at how the space actually works for the household or business.

Kitchen, puja corner and bedrooms in plain words

Vastu is a way of reading a building through its directions: where the door opens, where food is cooked, where people sleep, pray and work, and how these zones sit against one another. The aim is a layout that feels settled for those using it, not a rigid checklist.

Because most Kolkata buildings cannot be rebuilt, Dr. Riddhe starts with low-cost adjustments such as changing how a room is used or where a bed, desk or cash box is placed. Structural change is raised only with a good reason. No result is promised, and she says this at the start.

Apartments, heritage houses and offices across Kolkata

The city offers a very wide range of buildings. In Bhowanipore, Ballygunge, Jadavpur and Behala you find flats in mid-rise blocks, many built by promoters on small plots. Old North Kolkata houses around Bagbazar and Shyambazar have thakur dalans, inner courtyards and shared staircases. Salt Lake and New Town hold newer residential complexes and office parks.

Commercial questions are just as varied: traders in Burrabazar and Posta, doctors and lawyers with chambers, boutique owners on Gariahat, and IT firms in Sector V. Each of them can be reviewed remotely, from a sketch and photographs to a compass reading and a video call.

Humid monsoons, waterlogging and shared walls

Kolkata's monsoon humidity, waterlogging in low-lying areas and the closeness of neighbouring buildings affect light and ventilation. Dr. Riddhe considers these practical conditions, so her suggestions fit a real flat or old house, not an ideal plot.
