Vastu course for learners in Leh
Leh is seeing new houses, guesthouses and hotels go up, and with them a growing number of builders and designers who field Vastu questions. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi teaches a practical course that starts at first principles and ends with reading a real plan and proposing considered corrections.
What you will be able to do after the course
Students learn directions and zones and the five elements, and how these relate to rooms, entrances and open space. They practise orienting a plan, finding the main door and reading how a layout is organised. Homes, offices and commercial spaces are covered separately, because each is used differently.
Corrections are taught in a careful order: non-destructive steps first, then structural change only when there is a clear reason. The aim is for you to explain every suggestion plainly to the family or client in front of you. Case studies are drawn from homes and workplaces of different sizes.

Those who might join include a homeowner planning to build on land near Choglamsar or Shey, an architect or engineer working on guesthouses, and an interior designer fitting out a sunroom or cafe. Others hope to start advising people eventually.
Building in a high, cold, seismically active region has its own demands, such as insulation, sun and structure, and the course does not override those concerns. It shows how to discuss orientation within them. Learners are encouraged to practise on buildings they know, beginning with their own home. Questions are welcome throughout.

It teaches general Vastu principles and shows how to discuss them alongside practical limits like cold, sun and structure. It does not claim to teach Ladakhi construction.
