Vastu Consultant in Srinagar

Vastu consultation for properties in Srinagar

Srinagar is a city of lake edges, river bends and winters long enough to shape every building. Timber-framed houses in the old quarters stand beside newer concrete apartments in Rajbagh, Jawahar Nagar and Hyderpora. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews such properties online, reading the plan and the direction of the entrance with you.

Room use, door approach and placement of key items

Vastu considers how a building faces the directions, how rooms are arranged and how people move through them. In Srinagar, where homes are heated for months and families spend long evenings indoors, the position of the kitchen, the sleeping rooms and the living space has a daily, practical effect.

Dr. Riddhe works with the building as it stands. She looks first at easy changes: where a bed or desk sits, which room serves as the main sitting area, how the front entrance is used in winter. Structural work comes last, and nothing is promised as an outcome; the goal is a better understood space.

Timber houses, apartments and bazaar shops in Srinagar

Older neighbourhoods in the Old City, close to the Jhelum and Jamia Masjid, have timber-and-brick houses with carved wooden windows, while khatamband ceilings and sloping tin or shingle roofs, built to shed snow, are part of the local style. Newer homes around Bemina, Soura and Peerbagh are more often concrete and brick. Reading orientation on tightly packed lanes needs a careful plan.

Commercial premises range from shops around Lal Chowk and Residency Road to handicraft workshops, carpet and papier-mache units, and hotels and guesthouses near the Boulevard and Nishat. Owners ask where the cashier sits, where stock rests and how guest rooms face the lake or the mountain. The video review covers all of this without a journey, and a visit can be discussed for larger projects.

Valley floor, snow and flood memory

Srinagar lies on the flat valley floor between the Zabarwan range and the Jhelum, where cold winters, heavy snow and the memory of the 2014 floods influence where people store belongings and how ground floors are used. Dr. Riddhe takes these practical realities into account when making suggestions.
