Vastu consultation for properties in Bandung

Bandung sits in a highland basin ringed by volcanic hills, and its streets climb and fall in ways that flat cities never have to consider. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi applies Vastu Shastra to these varied plots from Vile Parle West, Mumbai, working online through plans, photographs and live video.

How a Vastu review reads doors, rooms and space

A Vastu review asks how the main door, rooms and open areas of a property sit against the directions and the five elements, and whether that arrangement supports the routines of the people who use it. It is a conversation about space, backed by a plan and photographs.

Advice starts with what is easy to reverse: shifting furniture, deciding which room serves which purpose, adjusting colour and light. Structural work is discussed only when an owner wants to renovate, and only after gentler options have been looked at together. Each point is explained plainly.

Sloping plots, cluster homes and shopfronts in Bandung

Bandung's houses are often built on sloping land, especially toward Dago, Setiabudi and the hills north of the centre, so the front of a house may face uphill or downhill. Terraced homes and cluster developments fill the suburbs, while apartments rise near Pasteur and the older core around Braga and Gedung Sate shows Dutch-era villas.

The city is also known for textiles, garments, fashion and food outlets, and for small workshops and studios. Many consultations concern a shopfront on Jalan Riau or Cihampelas, a home studio or a family business. Bandung is ninety minutes ahead of India all year, so evening calls are easy to place.

Damp corners and afternoon rain in highland homes

With a cooler highland climate than the coast and regular afternoon rain, Bandung homes often stay damp in corners that never see sun. Dr. Riddhe takes such conditions into account when she looks at where a kitchen, bedroom or prayer corner is placed.
