Vastu Consultant in Bhuj

Vastu consultation for Bhuj and Kutch properties

Bhuj was largely rebuilt after the earthquake of January 2001, so its streets today mix old stone-fronted buildings around Shroff Bazaar and the Hamirsar Lake side with newer houses, shops and apartment blocks. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi looks at each Bhuj property remotely, beginning with a drawing and a compass reading, and tailors her observations to the way the building is used.

A careful reading of directions and rooms

Vastu is concerned with how a building relates to direction: where the entrance opens, where cooking and sleeping happen, and where water, storage and workspaces sit. A review is meant to explain these relationships clearly so you can judge for yourself whether anything in the layout deserves attention.

Dr. Riddhe is cautious about disruption. Her first proposals involve moving furniture, changing how a space is used or adjusting a counter or desk. Because many Kutch buildings were designed with earthquake safety in mind, she does not suggest structural interference, and she never presents any adjustment as a promised outcome.

Rebuilt houses, bazaar shops and Kutch workplaces

Residential Bhuj includes compact houses with small courtyards, flats built along roads that lead out toward Madhapar and Mirzapar, and rehabilitation-era colonies with repeating plot sizes. In repeating layouts the same room positions recur from plot to plot, so the useful question is how your family arranges and uses the rooms rather than how the plot was drawn.

Commercial premises vary from crafts showrooms and textile stores selling ajrakh, bandhani and embroidery, to transport offices, contractors' yards and small units tied to the Kandla and Mundra port economy and cement and mining supply. All of this can be reviewed through a plan, a few photographs and a video call, wherever you are in Kutch.

Dry heat, wind and water tanks

Kutch is dry, hot for much of the year and often windy, with limited rainfall. Dr. Riddhe factors in shade, ventilation and the placement of water tanks, because advice about openings and storage only works if it fits the local climate.
