Vastu course for learners in Chennai
Anyone in Chennai who has bought an apartment or built a house has heard opinions about Vastu, often conflicting. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi's Vastu course teaches directions, zones and the five elements, then shows how to read a plan and suggest practical corrections. Batch dates, format and fees are shared when you enquire.
Applying one method to homes and workplaces
Early lessons cover the eight directions, the zones of a plot, and how earth, water, fire, air and space are understood in Vastu. You practise orienting a plan with a compass, finding the entrance direction and noting the zone in which each room sits.
Later parts apply the method to homes, offices and commercial spaces, and put non-destructive corrections first, so you learn to advise without suggesting demolition. No certificate or accreditation is claimed. The aim is understanding, and Dr. Riddhe recommends practising on real plans after the course.

Who in Chennai benefits from learning Vastu
Chennai learners who may benefit include homeowners with a flat or house to plan, civil engineers and architects, interior designers, builders and real-estate professionals, and people wanting to start a Vastu practice. The city's many apartment layouts give plenty of material for plan-reading practice.
Dates, length, fee and whether a batch runs online or in person in Mumbai are shared when you write. Chennai learners who prefer to stay home can ask about online batches, though it is worth checking the schedule against your work hours first. Questions about your own flat or house are welcome.
Mayamata and how the course relates to it
Tamil Nadu has its own respected Vaastu literature, such as the Mayamata, and Dr. Riddhe does not claim to teach it. Her course follows the Vastu approach she has used since 1999, and you may ask how it relates to what you have heard locally.

Questions & answers
Vastu course questions from Chennai
Have a different question? Ask Dr. Riddhe’s team. There is no obligation to book.
Is the Vastu course suitable for a civil engineer working in Chennai?
Yes. Engineers already read plans, so zones and orientation come quickly. The course teaches how Vastu maps onto a plan, with non-destructive corrections first. Practice afterwards on real buildings is strongly recommended.
Does the course teach the Mayamata tradition followed in Tamil Nadu?
No. Dr. Riddhe does not claim to teach that tradition. The course covers the Vastu approach she works with, and you are welcome to ask how it compares with what you have learnt locally.
Can an apartment owner in Chennai take the course just for personal use?
Certainly. Many learners want only to understand their own homes. You will learn to read your plan, understand its zones and consider gentle corrections, without any need to practise for others.
Will I get a certificate if I complete the Vastu course from Chennai?
No certification is claimed. The course builds understanding and method. If you want to advise others, Dr. Riddhe recommends practising on many real plans before taking paid work.
