Vastu Consultant in Madurai

Vastu consultation for properties in Madurai

Madurai mixes centuries-old streets with fast-growing suburbs, and Vastu questions differ between them. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews properties here online: you send a plan, a door compass reading and photographs, then walk her through the rooms on video so the advice fits the building as it stands.

Rearranging use before any rebuilding

A Vastu review first establishes which way the property faces and how the rooms are placed around its centre. In Madurai, where narrow plots and shared walls are common, the entrance, the position of the kitchen and the use of upper floors usually deserve the closest attention.

Recommendations are written in order of ease. Shifting how a room is used, moving heavy storage or changing where the family sleeps is discussed before any construction work. Where a layout works reasonably well, you will simply be told to leave it alone.

Temple-town streets, courtyards and modern flats in Madurai

The old core of Madurai grew in rings around the Meenakshi Amman Temple, with deep, narrow houses, inner courtyards and shops at street level and family rooms upstairs. Such buildings rarely allow structural changes, so the reading concentrates on how rooms are used day to day.

Beyond the centre, residential colonies, independent houses and apartment blocks have spread in every direction, along with textile traders, small manufacturers and retailers who work from the same building they live in. The online walkthrough lets these mixed spaces be explained room by room, and a visit can be discussed if a project calls for it.

Courtyards, tradition and the common framework

Tamil Nadu has its own respected tradition of building science, found in texts such as the Mayamata. Dr. Riddhe acknowledges it and works within the commonly followed Vastu Shastra approach, while paying attention to courtyards and verandahs that older Madurai homes still keep.
