Vastu Consultant in Khambhat

Vastu consultation for properties in Khambhat

Khambhat is an old port town at the head of the gulf that bears its name, and it keeps a dense historic core of closely packed houses beside newer areas where plots are wider. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi reviews both online, starting with your plan or sketch, a compass reading at the main door and photographs.

What the review looks at room by room

A Vastu review reads how a building meets the directions, where the entrances, kitchen and sleeping rooms lie, and whether that arrangement suits the people who live or work there. It begins from the real plan, however irregular, and not from a neat ideal.

Dr. Riddhe proposes small, reversible changes first: shifting a bed, putting a room to a different use, rethinking where a work seat faces. She turns to structural options only when they are truly needed. She promises no particular result, and she explains the reasoning so you can weigh each suggestion.

Narrow lanes, courtyard houses and craft workshops

Much of old Khambhat is built in tight lanes with narrow, deep houses, shared walls, wooden balconies and small inner courtyards, so a clean plot with free sides is rare. In such houses the question is less about an ideal orientation and more about how to use rooms sensibly within the given footprint and where light and air actually come in.

The town is known for its agate and carnelian craft, with cutting and polishing workshops, and for its sweets such as sutarfeni and halwasan. Workshop and shop owners ask about benches, furnaces, counters and storage. Newer housing on the town's edge raises the usual plot-facing questions. All of it can be reviewed online.

Tidal damp and old roofs

Being on the gulf, Khambhat has humid, salty air, strong tides on the coast and a hot, dry summer. Damp walls, ventilation and the drainage of rain from old roofs are practical issues, and they are considered alongside Vastu so that advice remains sensible for the town's conditions.
