Vastu Consultant in Ottawa

Vastu for Ottawa homes and small businesses

Ottawa homes are built for long winters, with sturdy insulation, finished basements and entrances that often face the street rather than the sun. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi offers Vastu to Ottawa residents online, reading your plan, compass bearing and photographs, and advising on the use of rooms in a house, townhome or condo.

Suggestions that fit how you live

Vastu examines how the entrance, kitchen, bedrooms and workspace relate to the directions, and whether the way each room is used suits those who live in it. Dr. Riddhe presents this as an observational method and explains her reasons, so you can weigh each suggestion yourself.

She does not promise outcomes. For a family that has already bought and moved in, she looks first at what can be shifted without cost, such as sleeping positions, desks, storage and the use of a spare room, and she says clearly when a layout already works for you.

Basements, townhomes and condo towers across Ottawa

Ottawa has several kinds of housing. Detached and semi-detached houses fill suburbs such as Barrhaven, Orleans, Kanata and Nepean; older brick homes line streets in the Glebe and Sandy Hill; and condominium towers stand downtown and along the Rideau River. Many houses include a finished basement, which people often use as an office or guest room.

Because a basement is below grade, Dr. Riddhe asks how you really use it before suggesting where to sleep or work. Winter also keeps families indoors for months, so the daily layout matters more. She asks for a video walkthrough to see doors, windows, the garage entry and the snow-facing side.

Reversible changes for postings and moves

In a capital city of civil servants, academics and technology workers, households often move for a posting or a new job. Reversible adjustments, which you can take with you from one address to the next, suit that pattern well.
