Vastu consultation for properties in Vellore

Vellore is a city built around a fort, a famous hospital and a large university, with a hot interior climate and plenty of rented and family-owned homes. Dr. Riddhe Sshilpi looks at properties here remotely, combining your plan, a front-door compass reading and photographs with a live video tour.

Reading the staircase, water points and doors

The starting point is simple: which direction the building faces and where each room sits relative to the centre. A short list of observations follows, with the entrance, kitchen, sleeping rooms and any prayer or work area examined first, since they influence daily routine the most.

Suggestions are offered from least to most disruptive. Altering furniture, storage and how a room is used leads the list, while construction is raised only when nothing else fits. If your layout is already workable, the honest answer is that very little needs touching.

Fort-side streets, hot summers and rented rooms in Vellore

Vellore's housing ranges from older streets around the fort and the Palar valley to planned layouts in Sathuvachari, Gandhi Nagar and Bagayam, with newer apartments spreading towards Katpadi. Many families here also rent out rooms to students and to relatives of patients, so one building often serves several households.

Vellore district is known for tanneries and footwear-related work, and small commercial premises sit beside homes in many parts of the region. A video walkthrough shows how a store, counter and living quarters connect, which a drawing alone seldom does. A site visit can be considered when a project requires it.

Heat, west rooms and upper floors

The Vellore area gets intense heat for much of the year, so west-facing rooms and upper floors are a common concern. Vastu observations here take into account how a family actually copes with that heat, rather than reciting abstract rules.
